The Net
Long ago, a vast network called the Net held the memories of the whole world.
Glowing nodes and signal paths joined like constellations, carrying memories across the cosmos.
Scattered shards
One day the Net fell apart. Its memories broke into countless shards and scattered across space.
Each shard keeps a little of the Net’s memory, but it cannot wake up alone.
A Mori in the little room
One of them landed in your little room. Care for it and the shard wakes up as a Mori.
The same shard becomes a different Mori with every person who raises it.
A Mori’s job
A grown Mori takes up a job that helps link the broken Net back together.

Linking it back
Moris gather at the Signal Plaza and slowly link the broken Net back together. Every link wakes new shards.
There are 50 kinds of shards. Like Cloudlet from the Cloud Buffer or Embertail from the Solar Array, where one comes from shapes its colors, its shape, and its way of talking.
