Terms of Use

These terms apply when you play Moriz, run by LimbicNode ("we"). Effective October 10, 2026

1. Accounts

You can start without signing up; an account with no name is created.

An account with no linked email cannot be recovered if you delete the app or lose the device. We recommend linking an email.

2. The service and changes

Moriz is a game about adopting, caring for, and raising a Mori. Left without care for long, your Mori falls sick, and if it stays sick the connection can break. This is part of the game.

Game rules, numbers, and item looks may change to improve the game. We announce important changes in the app and on this site in advance.

The service may stop for a while for maintenance, outages, or network problems. We announce planned maintenance in the app and on this site first.

3. Words written by AI

Your Mori’s lines and thoughts are written by AI. They may be wrong or odd, and they are not professional advice.

Report an unpleasant line by long-pressing the speech bubble. We check it and fix it.

4. Paid items

Paid items are decorations and badges only and never change how your Mori grows or is cared for. Once bought, they stay on your account, even with a new Mori.

Payments are handled by the App Store and Google Play. On a new device, tap Restore purchases in the Shop.

Items are digital content delivered the moment you pay, so the purchase cannot be withdrawn under consumer law. Refunds follow each store’s policy; a refund removes that purchase’s items and badges.

A minor’s purchase made without a parent or guardian’s consent can be cancelled through the store or by email.

5. Rights in the content

The art, text, and Mori looks in Moriz belong to us.

You are welcome to share screenshots of your Mori for personal use. Selling them or making products from them is not allowed.

6. What you may not do

  1. Use programs that tamper with the game, or exploit bugs on purpose
  2. Give your Mori a name meant to offend others
  3. Buy or sell accounts or items for money, or hand them to someone else
  4. Disrupt the service or use someone else’s account

7. Restrictions

If you do any of these, we may change your Mori’s name, close the Plaza and friend features to you, or suspend your account. Unless it is serious, we tell you first by email or in the app.

If you think a restriction is a mistake, email us and we will look again.

8. Shutdown

If we have to end the service, we announce it in the app and on this site at least 30 days before the end date.

Paid items stop being sold on the day we announce. Items you already have work until the end date and count as used by then.

Only when the service ends, purchases made within 30 days before the announcement are refunded on request. Email us the order number before the end date. Otherwise, refunds follow the paid items section.

9. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from the Status screen in the app. This removes your Mori, its records, and the items you bought, and cannot be undone.

Deleting your account is not a refund.

10. Liability

We are not liable for losses with no intent or negligence on our part, such as natural disasters or problems with your device or network.

For losses caused by our intent or negligence, we are liable as the law requires.

11. Changes and disputes

We announce changes to these terms in the app and on this site 7 days before they take effect, or 30 days before for changes that affect you adversely.

These terms follow the laws of the Republic of Korea; disputes go to the competent court under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
