Privacy policy

1. What we collect

You can start without signing up: we create an anonymous account, and you can link an email later.

Account

account id, email address and password if you link an email (the password is stored encrypted), sign-in records

Game records

your Mori’s name and look, stats (with a daily summary), growth, care records, memories, journal, decorations (room layout, hat, aura), badges, the note you put in a memory capsule (stored encrypted), past Moris, device time zone and language

Social records

friendships and friendship level, letters (fixed phrases only), visits, Plaza visits, contributions to restoring the Net, reports and blocks

AI reports

the text of a speech bubble or thought you report

Access records

request time, IP address, device and browser details (service logs)

App usage

when you open the app and for how long, screens viewed, in-game actions such as adopting, care, and growth, app version, device model and OS, country (no advertising id)

Crash reports

what happened when the app stopped or hit an error, device model and OS, app version

2. What we do not collect

The camera is used only to read a friend’s QR code; no photo or video is stored or sent.

Notifications are scheduled on your device, so we collect no push token.

No advertising id, precise location, or contacts. App usage statistics keep only the country estimated from the IP address, without an advertising id. No advertising tools.

Payments are handled by the App Store and Google Play; we never receive card details. For a paid item we receive only the product bought, the store transaction number, and the purchase and refund times.

4. What others can see

On the Plaza, in friend lists, QR meetups, and visits, others see only your Mori’s name, look, growth stage, job, adult form, and days together.

Your email, account, stats, memories, and journal are never shown to others. No one can send free text to anyone else.

5. What we send to the AI provider

Your Mori’s lines and thoughts are written by OpenAI’s AI. We send your Mori’s name, growth stage, personality, care records, memories, and today’s events.

We never send your email, your account details, or the note you put in a memory capsule. You agree to this when you adopt a Mori; to withdraw, delete your account.

6. Processors and transfers abroad

These companies process data for us. Account and game records are stored in Seoul.

Where a country is named, data goes there over an encrypted connection each time that feature is used, and is kept as section 7 says.

If you do not want your data sent abroad, delete your account. You can then no longer use Moriz.

7. How long we keep it

Account and game records are kept until you delete your account, then deleted at once. A deletion request by email is completed within 30 days after we confirm it is you.

Service logs are kept for up to 30 days, then deleted.

App usage is kept for 14 months and crash reports for up to 90 days, then deleted.

Payment records are kept by the App Store and Google Play under their own policies; the purchase records we receive are deleted with your account.

8. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete, or stop the processing of your data at any time. Game records are visible in the app, and you can delete your account from the Status screen.

9. Children

Moriz is a general-audience game that does not ask for age, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 14.

If we learn that a child under 14 gave us data without a guardian’s consent, we delete it. Guardians can ask for deletion at contact@limbicnode.com.

10. How we protect it

All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). Data is read and written only through Moriz’s own service; the database cannot be reached directly. Passwords are stored encrypted.
