Meet the friend right next to you
How to meet
Friends are made in person only, at any age.
- Tap the envelope (Mailbox) at the top of the room, then Friends · meet in person on the Friends tab
- One of you shows My QR, the other scans it
- No camera? Type the 6-character code under the QR
- Tap Be friends: both Moris keep a memory of it
Friendship
Meet again in person on another day and your friendship grows, once a day.
As it grows, a meetup postcard goes up on the wall, your Mori starts talking about that friend when it greets you, and in the end they become best friends.
Letters
Send each friend up to 3 letters a day, picked from short lines like How are you?, I miss you, or Thank you; each line once a day.
Letters land in the envelope Mailbox at the top of the room, with a red dot for new mail, and your Mori reads the new one when it greets you.
Visits
Once a day for each friend, send your Mori to their little room. It stays there as a visitor for a while, then comes back.
Pick Not now under Visitors on the Friends screen any time. Letters and visits do not grow friendship; meeting in person does.
While a visitor is in your room, your Mori stays home: no visiting and no Plaza.

Every meetup also adds links at Restoration HQ.
Safe by design
The QR changes every minute and works once. It holds no account details.
Remove or block a friend at any time.
